From BART: Exit at the Civic Center stop. Take the 9 Muni line West down Market Street. The 9 runs down 11th Street. Get off at Folsom Street and walk a half a block West to Norfolk Street (you will see the Holy Cow hanging above the sidewalk). Make a left down Norfolk and 43 Norfolk is 50 feet up on your left.
